Thank you for joining Greg and I on this macabre adventure!

Greg and I met over a decade ago when we were both working the door for a party at the Isotope comic lounge in San Francisco. It wasn't long after we became friends, booth mates, and collaborators.

Stumptown Comic Fest 2010 (?)

First up was a Baby Talk, a short piece, in his horror anthology, Parasomnia. We had such a good time working on that piece we started what would become the Rattler graphic novel, which is still to this day, my favorite project. Here we are in 2014 about sign and ship some books to backers.

Fulfilling the Rattler Kickstarter.

We didn't intend to take five years off in between projects. We had a sequel concept for the Rattler (an 80's era prequel/sequel) that we almost started. Then we almost worked together on The Cicada. Over the years, we pitched numerous publishers projects that would reunite us, but either the timing wasn't right, or another project would pull him away at the last minute.

Finally, fall of 18, Greg and I tabled at the Halloween 40th Anniversary Celebration in Pasadena and started spitballing fresh ideas.  Nocturnal Commissions came together over that weekend, as did our resolve, to go our own way and publish it ourselves.

And here we are. Day one is off to a promising start, but anyone who has run a Kickstarter will tell you the dead period is fast approaching. So, please, continue to share the project with your networks.  We have some very talented friends waiting in the wings to contribute additional art to the book if the project gets funded.

When you support Nocturnal Commissions, you are not only getting a kick-ass monster book; you are nurturing a collaborative friendship. For that, I could not be more grateful.

Thank you!
